PlayPortal is a professional management system for the game industry. It offers an alternative to paying cash, tokens or key-in to an arcade machine, making it suitable for Fish Hunter and other video redemption games.
A customer simply pays a cashier who loads the money onto a PlayPortal Player card. The customer then takes their card to an arcade machine with a PlayPortal card reader and taps it on the reader, which deducts money from the card and turns them into in game credits. The readers may be wired so that the machine may pay out onto the reader, and the player simply has to tap the card on the reader to collect their credits. The player may then take their card to the cashier to cash out their card balance.
The system runs on a Windows PC and so can be simply implemented into existing gaming centres.
